What is the best way to wake up in the morning?

Although it’s pretty hard to do, it’s far better for our health (and much less stressful) if we start the day waking up with natural daylight rather than the sound of a blaring alarm

Most of us typically do not have this luxury especially on winter mornings when the days are much shorter and the sun rises much later.

But it is best to do this whenever possible.

Why you may ask?

Well, a typical day for many people starts by waking from a deep sleep, to the sound of their alarm then rolling to a gym session or a morning run.

This causes our bodies to react in a number of different ways. One of those is an instant stress response and as a result the level of the stress hormone cortisol rises in our bodies and may actually go against our best efforts to start the day doing something healthy for ourselves.
