How to keep your mind healthy?

Some of the latest research indicates that by keeping your mind and your body active while you are young as well, as into middle and old age can help reduce the risk of conditions such as depression, dementia and Alzheimer’s.

So with this in mind, if you are like me and although you might feel our minds are constantly being pushed and overloaded with info, try something that’s quite different to your everyday to challenge yourself and your mind.

Things like try learning a musical instrument, a new language, word puzzles and board games or even taking up that bicycle repair course at your local adult education centre are all great places to start.
