Quick Tip #1 – Washing your Mountain Bike

Hey guys Roddo from Sports Adventure here.

Over the month of August I’m going to roll out one tip everyday just to help you guys get on the bike sooner and have more fun.

Today’s quick tip, tip number 1, is when you washing your mountain bike just tie a couple of plastic bags over the top of your gear and brake levers.

This stops water unnecessarily getting into gear cable gumming them up and making gear shifting little sloppy or harder than it needs to be.

Alright guys stay tuned for the next week if tomorrow.

Thanks guys. Bye for now.

So keep in touch and get out on the trails.

Like any sport, bicycling involves risk of injury and damage. By choosing to ride a bicycle, you assume the responsibility for that risk, so you need to know — and to practice — the rules of safe and responsible riding and of proper use and maintenance. Proper use and maintenance of your bicycle reduces risk of injury.
