What is a healthy amount of sun exposure?
Even though a poor diet (high in carbohydrates and high polyunsaturated vegetable oils) is in fact a greater risk to our health than conventional wisdom’s theory about any exposure to the sun, as it still provides us with the best source of vitamin D, it is important to limit your exposure to large surface areas of skin for up to 15 minutes a day.
For additional time in the sun ensure you always use adequate sunscreen, hat and appropriate clothing to cover your skin to reduce the risk of skin cancers from excessive sun exposure.
