Today we generally have become very accustomed to eating meals at regular times.
However once becoming fat adapted, I have found that it is far easier to eat to my hunger rather than the time of day.
If I am short on time or there isn’t any good food options available, it’s quite easy for me to skip a meal and wait till another time to eat.
There are some people living the primal lifestyle limit their meals to a compressed eating window each day, such as only eating meals say from 1pm to 7pm.
During this time they may eat a large salad with protein for lunch, a high fat snack in the afternoon, like apple and almond butter (yes sounds a little unusual but is actually quite tasty) and finish the day with a good quality nutritious dinner, such as red meat or chicken or fish with vegetables.
By not being dependent on food at regular times for me has certainly taken the stress out of having to eat at these times and has added significant more enjoyment to eating a meal then I have had in the past.
