Hey there Roddo from Sports Adventure today to talk to you about downhilling.
One of the most awesome things about riding a mountain bike at the end of a hard climb – really really tough slog.
Most the time you know on the other side of the climb is a good downhill.
A couple of things to really keep in mind with downhilling, depending on how technical it is you might want to just have a bit of a look over the section before you ride it
Always ride within your limits.
And when your place to downhill section make sure you get your body in the correct position before you approach the downhill section
So again depending on how rough the terrain is make sure you apply adequate braking
You are up out of the saddle
pedals aligned horizontal position
use your legs and your knees as a shock absorbers for your body.
If it’s a steep section might need to hang your weight over the back of the saddle just to distribute your weight just incase you hit a nasty log or a hole and keep yourself from going over the handlebars.
Alright guys enjoy downhilling.
Thanks guys have a great day I know I will.
Stay tuned tomorrow for you next quick tip.

Like any sport, bicycling involves risk of injury and damage. By choosing to ride a bicycle, you assume the responsibility for that risk, so you need to know — and to practice — the rules of safe and responsible riding and of proper use and maintenance. Proper use and maintenance of your bicycle reduces risk of injury.
